Cathe Friedrich’s STS Meso#1 Bonus Footage

Order or learn more about STS at http://www.cathe.com/sts

Here is a clip that features a sampling of all four of our Bonus Leg segments. Remember that Mesocycle One (the muscle endurance phase) finishes each of the four leg workouts with Bonus Leg Conditioning Exercises. These workouts are optional but specifically cater to those who are looking for those additional high rep isolation exercises that really “get in there” one last time. But don’t get me wrong, the main workout gets the job done (and then some !!!)…. but if you enjoy doing light weight, high rep exercises as well as hitting the muscles from different angles with various “grab n go” equipment, each of these 10-ish minute add-ons will be a wonderful “bonus burn” for you.

Because we are limited for time on a You Tube clip, you will only see a portion of each “Bonus Legs” segment. But I will write out the four routines here so you can see what each bonus workout features. Enjoy the clip!

Hi everyone. This is an idea I’ve had for a while, and rather than try to tackle Special Investigation Part 3 on my new Mac just yet, I thought I’d try it out with something graphically simpler. Those of you who follow me on twitter (NonStampNSC) will have heard the enormous difficulties I’ve been having getting my new MacBookPro to do simple things like I could do on my (now dead) WinXP machine. The troubles aren’t over yet, but hopefully soon I can figure some things out and get Special Investigation 3 – “Evolution” out there at last.

Til then, let’s suggest that christians just get over it when we use words like fuck, shit, fucking, fucker, and all that.

Cheers, NSC

Thanks very much to Askegg http://www.youtube.com/user/askegg
who’s been generous with his time on Skype helping me work some Mac things out.
He’s on the top of my list for my next shout-outs vid, and it’s because his videos are great, not just because he’s a nice guy! Go check it out for a preview.

Cathe Friedrich’s Basic Step and Body Fusion

Order this DVD at http://www.shopcathe.com

This DVD targets the beginner/intermediate exerciser and if you’re new to Cathe should be your first purchase from us. The workouts included with this DVD are:

Basic Step: This workout was designed to help the exerciser that is new to Cathe and to step aerobics . Basic Step is a 35 minute basic step routine that will hold the interest and truly challenge the beginner stepper for many workouts to come and is the official training DVD for all Step Company steps . While creating this workout, I made sure that basic steps were introduced, taught and put into combinations in a way that made the beginner have to focus and think, but not overwhelm them. Unlike teaching a live beginner class where each and every workout can change to provide further challenge to the participant, a DVD workout does not have that flexibility. For this reason, I have chosen to teach the moves but not over teach them, thereby giving the beginner stepper a new challenge to work towards every time they do the workout. Here is the breakdown:
Warm Up: The warm of this workout is about 6 minutes and contains basic steps, V-steps, alternating knees, repeater, corner to corner moves, rock horse, L-steps, A-steps, turn steps (horseshoe), leg extensions, charleston kicks, and stretches.
Combo#1:
We immediately go right into the first combination. Since this first combination comes right out of the warm up, I teach it a little longer than I typically would consider doing. This helps to establish confidence in the beginner stepper. After completing the finished product we do a perceived exertion test.
Combo 2: This is a little more complex and will probably take the beginner a couple of tries to master. We introduce knees around the world, chachas on the corner, and rock horse along with some other moves. After completing combo two we do another perceived exertion test and a light cool down. This workout concludes with a stretch.

Basic Step Format: Warm- up 7 min., step combo one 9 min., step combo two 11 min.. , Stretch 3 min., Total = 30 min

Body Fusion: It is approximately a 50 minute workout which is formatted as follows: Warm up Step combo #1 Weight segment #1 Step Combo #2 Weight Segment #2 Step Combo #3 Weight Segment #3 Stretch After the warm up you will go into your first step aerobic segment which features moves from videos past taught with a longer breakdown and more repetition than the other two upcoming step combos since you are just freshly out of the warm up. This segment is about 10 minutes long. Now your first weight segment will do squats with overhead presses and lunges with side and front lateral raises for approximately 5 minutes (light breaks in between). Step combo two is a little more complex than one but still on the level of intermediate. It again is about 10 minutes long and features moves from other videos. Weight segment two features lunges off the back of the step and then later bicep curls standing on the floor. The biceps curls end with a little balance option of doing them while standing on one leg. Step Combo #3, totaling about 8 minutes, is the same level of complexity as two but has more intensity added. Weight segment three includes deadrows and deadlifts and then moves onto dips and push ups before completing with a stretch.

Body Fusion format: warm up 6min, step combo one 8 min., weight segment one 4 min., step combo two 10 min., weight segment two 4 min., step combo three 9 min., weight segment three 6 min., Stretch 3 min., Total = 50 min.

Abs:10 minute Core Conditioning: This core workout features a stability ball as well as intermediate level abdominal and core exercises.

Upper Body Sculpt:20 Minute Upper Body Conditioning: This workout will tone all of the major muscles in the Upper Body: Back, Chest, Shoulders, Triceps, Biceps. A stability ball, light hand weights and a tubing strap will be used in this workout. Heavier weight can be substituted if preferred. Lower Body Sculpt:20 Minute

Lower Body Conditioning: This workout will tone all of the major muscles in the Lower Body: Quadriceps, Hamstrings, Glutes, Buttocks, Outer and Inner thigh, and Calves. Advice to 23 me PART 3 – My Financial Redemption

Sorry if this video feels rushed at the end. Until you make Youtube partner, your videos have a 10 minute limit. I tried to fit a LOT into one video to prevent having to split it into two.

0:01 – Life with bad credit
– how it affected my business practice and living situation

4:35 – Keeping a positive mindset in spite of my credit situation
-Moving on with my life, focusing on my goals

5:46 – Finally, I treat myself and enjoy my successes a little. 😉

Finally the moment a lot of you have been waiting for.
How exactly did I rebuild my credit?

Please note: I will NOT be answering any questions related to credit rebuilding. Everything I have to offer you is right here. I’ve given you enough leads to learn more on your own. It is time to take responsibility to educate yourself!

Step 1: Check ALL three of your credit reports -( checking your own scores does NOT work against you like “hard inquiries”, which result from applying for new credit)

You can check them ALL here for FREE (once a year)
https://www.annualcreditreport.com

AnnualCreditReport.com is a centralized service for consumers to request free annual credit reports. It was created by the three nationwide consumer credit reporting companies – Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.

AnnualCreditReport.com provides consumers with the secure means to request and obtain a free credit report once every 12 months from each of the three nationwide consumer credit reporting companies in accordance with the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACT Act).

Here are the 3 INDIVIDUAL Bureaus:

Transunion – http://www.transunion.com/

Equifax – http://www.equifax.com

Experian – http://www.experian.com

Your credit report should be FREE.
I would NOT recommend buying credit scores from any of these bureaus. They are not the industry standard. The only true score is your FICO score which can be obtained here:
http://www.myfico.com/Default.aspx

I warn you though, FICO scores are expensive! Something like $14 for each credit bureau score. If you choose to buy your scores, try not to make a habit of it. For one, they don’t change drastically. Once a year is probably more than enough. Take it from a former “FICO checking” addict. I know! LOL!

Step 2: Check your reports for accuracies/ if there is inaccurate information, make sure to notify the bureau to make the corrections

Step 3: Understand the Statute of Limitations for the state in which you incurred your debt – this is how long a company has to sue or pursue you for a debt

Not sure? Check it here:
http://tinyurl.com/ybjgocv

“By federal law, all debts must be removed from a credit report after seven years (US Code Title 15, §1681c).”
Source: http://www.bills.com/blog/credit-reports-seven-years/?rbc=bills+ssp

Another great resource is the creditboards.com

STEP 4: Wait it out & work to establish good credit in the meantime by paying your bills on time. You can also look into “secured credit cards” which require you to put down a deposit for a year (usually) Your credit limit will match your deposit amount. After a year (usually) your money is returned to you and the card becomes UN-secured. Use it wisely! This is your chance to rebuild positive credit history and improve your score.

Paying off your old debts will NOT result in your negative history being removed. Only TIME can heal that wound. lol.
I paid the vast majority of my debts. I didn’t bother with the ones that were 6.5 year in and about to expire from my reports. I just wanted to be done with it. How you handle your business is entirely up to you. But paying off your old debts is REQUIRED before anyone will give you a loan for a home. Paying off your old debts will update them as “PAID” on your report and that may help you in other areas and financial pursuits.

Remember, none of this will change overnight. TIME is the only true cure. I got myself out of the hole I dug for myself. You’ll have to do the same for yourself.

So I have nothing left to add. If you feel that you are more of an expert, please leave information in the comments section OR create a video response. But I will not be taking or answering ANY questions about credit repair. I’ve given you several leads–you must take responsibility to educate yourself.

Back Workout Weight Training Exercises

http://www.LeeHayward.com

I like to start my back workouts with a big basic compound exercise like the bent over barbell row. This exercise works the entire back from the lats, traps and spinal erectors as well as the biceps and forearms as secondary muscles.

When you do bent over rows bend over at a 45 degree angle and pull the bar towards your stomach. Maintain a slight arch in your lower back as this will help you get a better muscle contraction as you perform the exercise.

Next I like to move on to pull downs. These work the back from a full range of motion. You’ll get a good stretch in the lats at the beginning of each rep, and you’ll also get a peak contraction at the end.

I’ll vary the grips that I use from time to time to work the back from different angles. Here in the video I’m using a v-bar attachment which is good for adding width to the back.

Using a wider grip will work more of the middle back and using a closer grip will work more of the outer back. It’s the opposite of what most people think. But try it out for yourself your next back workout and notice where you feel the muscles working with different width grips.

After pull downs I’ll move on to a chest support row. Here in the video I’m using the Hammer Strength Machine which distributes the weight between both sides equally.

I like using the chest supported rows in my back workouts because it is a much stricter rowing movement then a free standing row.

Chest supported rows provide both a good stretch at the bottom of the lift and a peak contraction at the top.

To really pump up my lats at the end of a back workout I’ll include bodyweight rows. This exercise is like an inverted push up.

I like to include bodyweight exercises in my workouts because they provide a greater level of neuromuscular activation. Moving your entire body through space makes an exercise much more demanding then just moving your limbs.

Try them out for your next back workout and you’ll see what I mean. You’ll feel a deeper level of muscular fatigue compared to regular rowing exercises.

To finish off my back training I’ll do some work for the lower back. Hyper extensions are one of my favourite lower exercises. They provide a good stretch at the bottom and a full contraction at the top.

I’ll start off with holding a weight plate to my chest for 10-15 reps. Then I’ll put the weight down and continue with another 10-15 reps with just my bodyweight. I’ll do 3 sets in this fashion.

For all the other back exercises I’ll do 3 sets of 8-12 reps after warming up.

Hyper extensions are also a great finishing exercise to do after a leg workout because in addition to working the lower back they also heavily work the glutes and hamstrings.

Michael Joseph Jackson
(August 29, 1958 June 25, 2009)

Was an American recording artist, entertainer and businessman. The seventh child of the Jackson family, he made his debut on the professional music scene in 1968 as a member of The Jackson 5. He then began a solo career in 1971 while still a member of the group. Referred to as the “King of Pop” in subsequent years, his 1982 album Thriller remains the world’s best-selling album of all time, and four of his other solo studio albums are among the world’s best-selling records: Off the Wall (1979), Bad (1987), Dangerous (1991) and HIStory (1995).

In the early 1980s, he became a dominant figure in popular music and the first African American entertainer to amass a strong crossover following on MTV. The popularity of his music videos airing on MTV, such as “Beat It”, “Billie Jean” and “Thriller”—widely credited with transforming the music video from a promotional tool into an art form—helped bring the relatively new channel to fame. Videos such as “Black or White” and “Scream” made Jackson an enduring staple on MTV in the 1990s. With stage performances and music videos, Jackson popularized a number of physically complicated dance techniques, such as the robot and the moonwalk. His distinctive musical sound and vocal style influenced many hip hop, pop and contemporary R&B artists across several generations.

Jackson donated and raised millions of dollars for beneficial causes through his foundations, charity singles, and support of 39 charities. Other aspects of his personal life, including his often changing appearances and eccentric behavior, generated significant controversy which damaged his public image. Though he was accused of child sexual abuse in 1993, the criminal investigation was closed due to lack of evidence and Jackson was not charged. The singer had experienced health concerns since the early 1990s and conflicting reports regarding the state of his finances since the late 1990s. Jackson married twice and fathered three children, actions which caused further controversy. In 2005, Jackson was tried and acquitted of further sexual abuse allegations and several other charges.

One of the few artists to have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, his other achievements include multiple Guinness World Records—including one for “Most Successful Entertainer of All Time”—13 Grammy Awards, 13 number one singles in his solo career, and the sale of 750 million records worldwide. At the time of his death, he was preparing for This Is It, a series of 50 concerts that would have been held in London beginning July 13, 2009.
