Im not fat, but my legs jiggle every time I walk. What exercises should I do to make them firm, toned, pretty, and not jiggly anymore? Will I see the results in 6 weeks?
No cardio, I just want toning exercises please

Will I see the results in 6 weeks? Yes.

Obviously, as you see im very small for my age. I play soccer, run track, and run cross country for my Middle school team, and so i have great leg muscles, but no arm muscles. I always feel weak around my friends. I have contemplated whether or not i should stick to running, ab workouts, and curls, or start dead lifting. If you have any advice, i’ll be happy to hear it. The truth hurts, so be cruel and honest. I’ll man up and take it =)

In addition to the above answer, do bicep curls, lateral raises and front raises, tricep dips and shoulder shrugs. That combination should strengthen all major muscles of the shoulders and arms (in addition to the back and chest from the pushups and pullups).

If you don’t have any weights to work with, you can improvise by putting heavy stuff in a backpack or bag, using a bathroom scale to see how much it weighs. All you need for tricep dips are a scale. Please go here http://www.acefitness.org/exerciselibrary/default.aspx
to see the proper form for all of the exercises, proper form is essential.
Start with light weights.

It sucks, but at your age I don’t think you’ll grow to be very tall, and a large component in strength is size (bigger people are stronger). So chances are you’ll never be stronger than your friends, but you can still become very strong for your height.

I have a 2.5 yr old boxer/sheppard mix who loves to run, jump and fetch. Just recently after running for a while and when we have started to walk home his one back leg appears to cramp up- this has happened 3 times in 2 months. I typically rub the area and he seems fine and will keep walking. He doesn’t whimper, appear to be in pain or anything just seems to have a cramp. Is this normal like an athlete would cramp up or something more? I REALLY spoil this dog and he is pampered like no one else so he is in great shape and gets plenty of exercise. Is this just normal or something I should have checked?

He needs to go to the vet. He’s got some sort of knee injury or problem.

The symptoms sound very similar to what you’d see in a luxating patella. And yes, it can happen to big dogs, too.

But in any event, he needs to be checked out, yes. Keep him from hard running and any jumping until you get to the vet. Leash walks only. You don’t want to make the problem worse.

I don’t want to burn too much fat though, just make it able to give me bigger glutes even though I already have a big butt but I want it bigger. But right now I don’t have time to go to the gym meaning I don’t have all the sets of weights with me,just a 5 lb dumbbell, large exercise ball, push up handles, and a cardio weighted belt system also including 2lb pair hand weight you step, walk, and run with.

Work at home mailing jobs?

posted by on April 27th, 2010

Are there any home mailing jobs out there that don’t require you to do any advertising, posting flyers, or anything of that sort? Also if they don’t have a big start-up fee? Mailing envelopes sounds like an easy work from home job but I don’t want to try one if it requires me to do anything more than just mailing stuff provided by the company. If anyone has tried or is currently doing a job like this and has gained success from it, please let me know about it and how it works. If it’s one that I don’t have to commit too much time and effort to, that would be great because I’m not looking for a big money maker, just something that will get me a little extra cash on the side to help pay for bills and such.

I had a job I hated, and debts piled so deep I thought I’d drown. Actually, I was drowning and I saw no way out.
Well, that’s not quite right. I saw a way out—making money on the Internet—but I made two dumb assumptions that kept me in my job prison for far too long…
Making Money Online Isn’t Hard…Or Slow. I assumed it was both, and you might too.

Some people have tried and never made a dime, or maybe made just enough to buy a cup of coffee at Starbuck’s. So they assume it’s all a scam (it’s not, as you’ll see).

Some people are afraid to try, because they don’t know much about computers, or they think you have to be some kind of super-technical genius (you don’t).

Whatever the reason, most people either don’t even try, or they try and give up. That keeps them stuck in the rat race for the rest of their natural lives.

I escaped. Now I’m making way more money on the Internet than I ever made from my desk job.

If you are a newbie (like I was) or an internet guru, this will help you to quit our day job and REALLY be succesfull:

Back Pain, avoidance and rehab

posted by on April 27th, 2010

In this video I’m going to cover how to prevent lower back injuries and what to do if you have the misfortune of having a lower back injury. The best way to handle back injuries is to prevent them from happening in the first place! Here is what YOU can do to prevent lower back injuries:

work your core (crunches, planks, supermans)
stretch you hamstrings daily (helps lift properly)
lift properly (quad strength)

I was clearly doing the rehab exercises for real, I’m not a good enough actor to fake pain đŸ™‚ The reason I wanted to do this video while I was having back trouble was that all the videos out there illustrating these rehab exercises seem to have been done by people who have never had back pain. I wanted this to be real so people could relate.
