How do I work out my calves, glutes, hamstrings, and quads?

I want to get faster at running the 50m sprint, and I’ve heard that I should train my calves, glutes, hamstrings, and quads but I don’t know how to get them strong.
I would like to know the ways to get them strong without using any pills or equipments (like sit-ups, which doesn’t require any materials).
Thanks.

Hills! Find a very large hill and run up it fast then jog back down the repeat that about 10 more times….we do this in cross country and beleive me it really works those muscles and builds stamina. I hope I could help!

What are good exercises to get a nice and firm butt and legs???

What are good exercises to get a nice and firm butt and legs?
i am now desperately trying to get a firm butt and nice butt but i need help with how to do it, can anyone recommend an exercise regimen that’ll get my butt and legs to look somewhat like this: http://queermenow.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/dylanwood.jpg

or like DEAN COXX’s butt?

To get nice legs you should run for about 15 minutes a day I found on my research in university and workout with leg exercises to get in shape in the butt and legs!!

do you know of exercises for great looking knees and overall legs exercises as well?

Cycling. Go buy a bike and take a ride lasting 20 minutes to 90 minutes. It will also make you lose weight, and fight depression.

You can also buy a trainer to use the bike indoors, or buy a stationary bike- no better exercise for the legs and knees- also firms the core and upper body.

Why does my lower leg hurt when I exercise?

It hurts every time I exercise and it involves my lower leg. At night my lower legs get restless I can’t run for like more than 30 seconds without them hurting, I can’t bike, I can’t dance. And I am perfectly healthy but my legs are very flexible.

What does the pain feel like? does it feel like sore muscles? or a burning/itchy feeling?

If its a burning/itchy feeling (feels like ants are biting you), I best describe it as sleeping muscles & nerves waking up for the first time. After a week or two, the muscles and nerves "wake up" and it goes away.
I’m a marathon runner and when I take long breaks of not running, I get those pains.

If your Shins hurt, they feel really weak and numb with sharp pains, those are shin splints, and will go away with stretching, rest and proper exercises.

Sore Muscles & Cramps & Tight Muscles (in the calf/thighs):
Drink lots of water. You’re muscles need water when you’re exercising. 2 liters a day, and before/during/after your activity. Also Potassium from Bananas help to regular the water throughout your body to prevent cramps.

Before you do exercises that involve your legs, its important to do stretches to warm up the muscles and not injury yourself. Yoga would be great for that. Slowly strengthen your muscles then try running & biking.

Your problem at night sounds like Restless leg syndrome: https://www.google.com/health/ref/Restless+leg+syndrome

I got that as a side effect from an Allergy medication. I ended up doing a really intense leg workout and it went away, also I stopped taking that medication.

hope it helps. 🙂

How often do you work these muscles?

I’ve recently started working out and have found out I know very little of how often to work ‘x’ muscle groups. So, if you could please tell me I’d much appriciate it.

Arms: Biceps &Triceps
Chest/Back
Abs
Legs: Thighs, Calves, Glutes

Thank you for your help!

If you are just starting out I would suggest a 4 day split.
Day 1. Chest/tricep
Day 2. Back/bicep
Day 3. Legs
Day 4. Shoulders

Depending on your schedule rotate your off days in between these days how you see fit.
