I don’t think there really is a "best way," but I recommend the straight leg kick backs where you start on all 4’s and alternate your legs kicking one back at a time to the ceiling and squeezing at the end for about 2-4secs.
Also you can try the pelvic thrust on your back. Lay on your back and keep your feet and legs positioned as if you were about to do situps. Slowly lift your hips, keeping your back on the ground. Once again, squeeze your glutes at the top for about 2-4secs.
I just started going ot the gym regularily and the trainer there gave me 2 different work outs to alternate each day of week. I do the machines for now and will move to free weights soon.
I want to target my glutes but so far i feel like all the machines just make my thigh and hamstring muscles hurt and not specifically my butt. whats the best machine for giving me that "lift" and hard butt?? thanks!
The one where you lie on your stomach and raise weights with your lower legs.
how can i make my legs thicker and my butt look fuller? something i can do at home becuase i cant go to the gym and i dont play any sports "/
Yeah if you have stairs going up and down them with ankle weights on and Lunges with dumbells in each hand (start off light) should work, pretty good. And of coarse any type of squatting exercise with weight will work great. I think they have a video called the "Butt Blaster" or something like that, that might help. Good luck and stay positive!

Great legs do not only mean that you possess perfectly shaped legs like Mariah Carey. Of course she has a nice pair of legs. But does it mean that it is great?
Having great legs cannot be achieved for just a day, you have to earn for it. What would be the best way to have a nice and great pair of legs than to exercise!
Great legs should have endurance. Walking, running and jogging are some of the basic actions that we usually do that can be considered as exercises for great legs. There are still lots of actions that we do in our daily routine that can be a big help in having great legs.
Here are some exercises for great legs.
Stretching. Position yourself on hands and knees with back straight. Bend your left knee forward and up to chest, then extend back. Repeat until you get tired.
Kneeling. Stand straight and kneel on floor and keep the body in a straight line. If you feel that your thighs are stronger, you are doing a great job. Repeat as many as possible.
Bending. Feet should be apart, palms at the back. Raise your toes, then bend knees and push those outwards, making the body to a crouching position, and straight your legs. Repeat until you perspire.
Bouncing. Sit on floor and spread your legs like a v and bend your knees slowly. Stretch your legs and bounce back of knees on floor and bring your legs together. Repeat when necessary.
Having great legs is supposed to be an advantage for those possessing it. We should make use of it in a good way and influence others to follow the exercises for great legs. Everybody has the right to have great legs. Let us not deprive them of that.
