Should I work out today?

Two days ago, I did a full body work out. Quads, glutes, biceps, triceps, deltoids, pectorals, trapezius, and abdominals. I always do every single one of these, except pecs and whatever muscle you use when you do squats. So naturally, a day after I did these, the back of my thighs and my pecs were extremely sore. Do you think I’ll be able to work out today, two days after my last workout?
I think I forgot to mention I’m still really sore. But I’m going to work out anyway.

I am told you should work out a maximum of every 48 to 72 hours with weightlifting for a muscle group

I would suggest waiting 24 more more hours before doing a workout, however you can walk and stretch and help remove the lactic acid from your legs this might remove soreness and if it does you can probably lift today.

Yes a day of rest is enough and two is more than enough.

    Good luck

You will be able to workout yes. Do you want to if you are that sore?
You might not be at your best but you will definitely be able to workout. You have given your muscles 48 hours to recoup too which is great! They had enough time to rebuild.

Maybe next time go through a lot of stretches, you really want to make sure you stretch every muscle you just worked (especially if you dont usually work your hammies or quads). If you let your lactic acid pool in your muscles, you’ll be very sore.

    Without thinking: YES.

After reading your entire message and thinking about it: No, take a few days off to fully recover.

I’d still take my first answer, though, and if you do otherwise then I will go to your house and call you lazy.
