I want to jump on the eliptical machine, and i think the pain in the back of my leg feels fine. should i work out, even if the eliptical machine is not that stressful on the back or leg?
As long as you stretch you leg and hip regularly, you should be aboe to exercise. more often than not the pain is caused by pressure on hte sciatic nerve and depending on what is causing the pressure determines if it will prevent you from exercising.
Some have a disk pressing on it and since itis a rounded bone only causes pain.
I had bone spurs digging in and it caused tears in the nerve causing permanent numbness to my left leg and nocturnal cramping of the left foot and calf.
By exercising you could cause damage as I did. If you have not been to a neuro Surgeon, then you should go before you exercise.
