push ups, pull ups, dumbbell curls (or anything around the house you can grab and curl) go to www.bodybuilding.com to find out and go to exercises and bodypart and u will see a little menu and choose with no equipment or something like that

Do you mean machines as in equipment or machines as in anything such as weights? Some of the previous posts cover the basics for building legs and arms.
If you have access to weights, squats are great for the legs and so are lunges. Check a forum like http://www.bodybuilding.com for more on training.
