ok so I’m 5’1, black, and I already have a nice build but I don’t want to keep gaining mass weight to have my butt grow. I have always had one but at this point I just want to work out, but I am afraid working out will decrease my butt. I just want to work the glutes. I am a 39 in the hips, mind you i’m 5’1 so I want to be a 44 or 45 what do I need to do?
Start on your hands and knees on the floor. Then, lift one leg straight out to the side (90 degree angle to your body and floor). At this point, you could either swing the raised leg side to side (maintaining the same height) or raise and lower it. Just remember to keep the knee straight while doing this. Do a set of ten or twenty to start out, then switch legs. You will probably feel this in your thighs too, but it works mostly the glutes.
This may decrease the size of you butt, depending on how much fat content you have, but it will definitely strengthen the muscles. You’ll most likely get a toned butt from this. Add ankle weights to add resistance and build the muscle.

there’s a lot more website b/c this seems to be a particular area of women’s conscience… considering that guys are most attracted to it… GOOD LUCK! but to tell you, most of everything in your body is determined by your genes… so if it doesn’t work out too well, don’t be upset with yourself… IT’S NOT YOUR FAULT!
