Are your legs fat, flab and saggy? It is not a problem anymore because you can have long, lean and sexy legs by doing the exercises to tone your legs. And it is a must not to miss your exercise because achieving toned legs is not easy. Your concentration and perseverance is important to achieve the toned legs that you are dreaming of.
The following are the hamstring exercises to tone your legs:
Hamstrings are important muscles of the legs. Doing this exercise can make the contours of our legs slender and lean. Follow these steps!
The Heel Curl. Stand on one leg. The other leg is extended behind you. Bend your knee to make your foot come up behind you. Slowly lift your heel up to your butt and gently bring your foot back to the floor. Repeat ten times and switch to do the other leg.
The Hamstring Curl. Stand up straight and place left foot about 15 inches behind your right foot. Extend your arms in front of you for balance. Bring your left heel towards your gluteals by squeezing the hamstring, keeping your left thigh still. Hold the top position for few seconds before returning to the starting position. Repeat ten times and switch to do the other leg.
The Hamstring Lift. All your force on the mat, place your hands below your shoulders. Extend one leg straight back with your toes pointed. While in extended stance, bring your lower leg up to a right angle as you flex your foot. Keep your upper body stable. Repeat ten times and switch to do the other leg.
Possessing toned legs will not only enhance our physical appearance. Strong legs also provide good support to our lower body to help us carry our body weight easily. Exercises to tone your legs are not enough. We should also be careful of foods that we intake, make sure that what we eat are healthy. Exercises plus healthy food will make us successful in achieving well-toned pair of legs.
