You dont have to read my whole acne story, just to hear my question head to the 2nd paragraph.
I am 14 and I have bad blackheads around my nose and some are starting in between my eyebrows and the like. I first started getting pimples when I was beginning the 8th grade, almost a year ago. Back then, I was taking showers in the morning. My facial routine consisted of washing my face in the shower. As soon as I stepped out, hair dripping wet, I smeared on gobs of foundation on my forehead and nose. I thought that was helping it. All it did was clog up my pores and made my forehead look flaky. In March, I began to realize how bad my pimples were and how itchy my face was becoming, not t mention scarred, by acne. Ever since then I have followed a natural routine of cleansing my face twice a day with a natural soap, followed by a tea tree oil cleanser. I am taking zinc and copper capsules which are seriously helping my pimples. Also I am taking milk thistle capsules to balance out my hormones, and mom says I can take Vitex in a few months to also help. But even though I have not very bad pimples anymore, whatever I do has not helped my blackheads at all. Sometimes when I have a really huge one I can pick off the black part, then it bleeds and scars.
I have searched and searched, but what I really want is something easy like buttermilk, honey, cinnamon, baking soda, lemons, etc. (not all those ingredients) to have an easy cure for blackheads using home remedies. I have heard of honey with cinnamon to put on a face mask overnight, and buttermilk and nutmeg, but I have no nutmeg and won’t buy any. Please tell me an easy home remedy, something with the ingredients listed above or very similar to those, that I can put directly on my blackheads and then wash off in about 15-20 minutes. I really really appreciate this!! 🙂
okay if you wash your face with hot or warm water please don’t because that can open up your pores and it will make you break out . i used to do that alot when i was younger too and now that i realized that i stopped and i don’t break out as i used to. i use facial mask (clay) and it helps alot , if you want to give it a try you can get it at Walgreen’s or stores like tj maxx and Marshall’s . for homemade remedy , heres the things you gonna need and directions too :
toothpaste (you just gonna need enough to cover your face )
3 tb of salt
mix them in a bowl until its thick . before you apply it to your face you want to wash your face with warm water so that your pores are opened ,then keep it on ur face for 5 minutes then wash your face with cold water .
you can do this 2-4 times a week.
now i really hope you try this and that it works for you 🙂
good luck .
I’ve tried several varieties of ales (golden and amber) and they’ve been fairly easy to home brew. I was wondering if there is another variety of easy-to-brew beer I am missing out on.
I am not looking for any variety that is low in quality (i.e. something close to malt liquor).
A simple hefeweizen is easy to brew.
Pale ales are also a good choice, they can be as simple or as complex as you want them to be.
If you can control fermentation temp down to the mid-50s try a Scottish ale. They are easy drinking and wonderful.
My personal favorite is an English bitter. It’s basically just an English style pale ale. Which is to say a pale ale focused more on malt than a typical American pale ale, which is usually more hoppy.
I’ve been getting break-outs on my face and really want to get rid of them !
Does anyone know a quick and easy home remedy to get rid of them ?
you can go to a doctor or something that can provide you the right product for you…
heres a little guide to help you out
1. stop eating junk and greasy stuff
2. wash your face constantly! (if you have a lotion to remove face oil, use it)
3. if you have long hair that goes over any part of your face like your fore head, get a clip or something and move it away from your face. (if you arent comfortable wearing the clip outside home, then no problem… just make sure you put it on at home. (im a guy with greasy skin so i sometimes have to do this)
4. also take a shower everyday
follow all those and you might see some improvements…
I have land. I just need to find a cheap home that we can live in while ours is being built. We’re thinking about renting our current home out until we’re ready to build but I can’t seem to find any except the over priced ones on dealer lots. I can’t find any trailer parks that are willing to let us move the homes either.
The cost to move and set up a manufactured home can be upward of $20,000 if you have to get permits, etc. This does not even include the price of the home. If you are looking for something cheap and easy to set up on your land, just get a used recreational vehicle. It’s frankly cheaper and easier to stay in your own home or rent a temporary apartment while you build.
i want my hair to look healthy! it is healthy doesnt look that way though so whats a quick easy home remedy?
Healthy hair looks healthy. Damaged hair doesn’t look healthy. http://www.hairboutique.com has some natural at-home remedies. I use olive oil in my hair to keep it strong. I’ve also used honey for shine. I’ve used some of the natural remedies at hairboutique.
Real mayonnaise and egg is a conditioning protein treatment. I’d try that, but I’m not sure how to get the mayo smell out of my hair because I know it’ll make me sick to constantly smell it. I also use coconut oil and this makes my hair soft and shiny.
I get bad period pains all throughout the month, and they stop me from carrying out daily activities, such as studying, working, etc. Does somebody know a good way to relieve the pain? Preferably an easy home-made remedy or solution of some kind?
My friend used to use a hot water bottle on the cramps. I curl up in a ball and use a heating pad. Also a nice hot bath with Epsom Salt (about 1/3 of the carton) you can also add lavender or rosemary to the bath water to calm you. Ibuprofen works. Try chamomile and/or ginger root tea too (I drink Ginger Ale too). Hope one of these relieve your cramps.
I’m in 7th grade, and I hate having acne. I don’t really know how to get rid of them quickly. I can’t go out and buy acne cream because my mom won’t let me and she says it doesn’t work. So is there any easy home remedies I can use to:

•and the bright red ones still stuck on my face
****REMEMBER:HOME REMEDIES IM ONLY 13****
Stress can affect hormones and can theoretically promote acne. I try to do natural home remedies but here are some helpful tips that might be helpful for acne and scar:
1) Tea Tree Oil
2) Lemon oil or juice
3) Mandarin oil
4) Cedar wood – good for eczema
6) Apple cider vinegar
7) Bamboo extract or Sarna lotion – good for rosacea, psoriasis, eczema
8) Bio Oil or BB cream for dark spots or scars
9) Toothpaste is very effective for acne leave on face for about 20 to 30 minutes then wash.
10) Zinc really works on acne
11) 2% Erythromycin
12) Benzoin Peroxide
Applied lemon juice or apple cider vinegar to face or you can drink it through using it in water a few drops a day. Will help with both acne, and scars as well. Another way you can get rid of acne is by taking bamboo extract something I started when I had the problem really does work. Hope this works for you.
OR: Here are other methods to clear up blemishes.
Tea tree oil is a popular home remedy for acne. An essential oil is diluted and applied topically to acne lesions. How is tea tree oil believed to work? Tea tree oil contains a constituent called terpinen-4-ol that’s thought to be responsible for most of tea tree oil’s anti-bacterial activity. Because tea tree oil can kill bacteria, applying topical tea tree oil to acne lesions is believed to kill Propionibacterium acnes, the skin-dwelling bacteria involved in acne. To treat mild, and occasional breakouts. This is how it works: Distilled from the leaves of an Australian shrub, tea-tree oil contains antibacterial and anti-microbial compounds called terpenoids that help kill the bacteria that, when trapped behind oil in a plugged pore, lead to acne breakouts. Try Burt’s Bees Herbal Blemish Stick ($8, burtsbees.com). A roller-ball tube makes for easy application. Studies testing tea-tree oil against the gold-standard acne treatment, benzoyl peroxide, have shown that while the latter works more quickly, tea-tree oil is equally effective over time. And it results in fewer annoying side effects—namely, dryness and redness.
If you have sensitive skin.
How it works: A time-tested, gentle acne fighter, sulfur “acts like a sponge to draw oil out of blocked pores,”. This dries up pimples and keeps sebum production in check, helping to prevent future blemishes. Sulfur has a distinct smell—think rotten eggs. Most preparations that use it contain a masking fragrance. However, to play it safe (and avoid scaring off coworkers), apply these products at night.
To treat and soothe red, inflamed blemishes. Salicylic acid can have a calming, anti-inflammatory effect on pimples. “It also breaks down the ‘cement’ between cells in clogged pores to help unplug them,”
Salicylic acid is less irritating than more potent treatments, so it may be better for those with dry skin. It also tends to work well on stubborn blackheads.
Nightly to prevent breakouts.
How they work: Retinoid, which include over-the-counter retinol and prescription-strength Retin-A, reduce acne by altering the oil chemistry on the skin. “They help stop dense sebum from getting stuck within the pores,” says Gross. Without oil deposits, bacteria can’t grow and cause blemishes. Since retinoid can make skin sensitive to the sun, doctors recommend using them at night (and being diligent about wearing sunscreen during the day). To avoid irritation, apply every other evening to start, gradually working up to nightly use. Bonus benefit: Retinoid have been shown to increase collagen production and plump fine lines, making them a good choice if you’re dealing with acne and wrinkles.

Hey there! You should definitely try a deep conditioner, or a leave in conditioner. I’ve also heard that washing your hair everyday willl eventually strip your hair of natural oils, so if you can, it’s best to wash your hair every other day.
Something simple that really helped me was not towel drying my hair!
I stopped wrapping it up in a towel and immediately saw that my hair was less frizzy and it was easier to manage.
You should also wash your hair in cold water. Cold water will give your hair more shine and will tame frizziness.
A simple trick is to just brush your hair before bed and in the morning. Brushing your hair will naturally spread out the oils in it, making it healthier and stronger.
I’m wishing you the best! 🙂
i need help please anybody. last night i woke up and i had trouble breathing.this morning it felt like i stopped breathing for a second or 2. i just got out of the shower it worked then it came back. i need stuff i can do at home with like no docter but if needed i guess a doctor. try to give me simple easy home stuff and no food suggestions.
take a microwave safe dish and put water in it, and put it in there for about 5 minutes, it will come out streaming hot so be careful. Then put it on a hot pad, take a towel and put it over your head, lean over and take deep breaths. It will clear up your congestion, but you may wanna do this for about 15-20 minutes, when you feel it start getting better, go get a tissue and blow your guts out! Do this everyday, and take some nasal spray at the same time.,.
This ALWAYS works for me!
Hope this helped (:
My skin just started to oil (it never did this) up at the beginning of the school year, and my skin has been breaking out like crazy since. It gets really oily about halfway through school, so, WHAT CAN I DOO??? Some easy home remedies might be nice.
you want a cleanser with Beta Hydroxy, it is the only product known to disolve facial oil, Neutrogena has a couple good ones.
You also want to use an astringent everyday if you’re still breaking out, Ten O Six is the best, by Bonnie Bell.
However, do not over dry, this will make your skin create more oil and you’ll get large pores.
